About Me

My Hometown

I am originally from a small town called Farwell, located in central Michigan within the United States. I like to say “small town”, but for as long as I have been alive, Farwell has maintained a population of less than 900 people. So, Farwell is technically a village on the verge of becoming a hamlet. Go Eagles!

My Dogs

For most of my life, my family has had several non-human animal members. Currently, I am lucky enough to share my life with three Shih Tzu mixes — Gus Gus, Winston, and Theodore. Pictured opposite, you can see Gus Gus peering at the camera from the corner, Winston soaking up the attention in the center, and Theo, whose attention is elsewhere, in the back. Their constant affection and energy have made my life all the better. 

My Interests

I enjoy being physically active. Currently, the activity that I oscillate between loving and hating is running. While I rarely compete in road races, I did recently run the Myrtle Beach Marathon. In addition to running, I also enjoy walking, hiking, and, when I get the chance, swimming and biking.

 

I also enjoy playing games (who doesn’t?). My favorite card game is Magic the Gathering and my favorite TTRPG is Dungeons and Dragons. 

 

I am an avid gardener and love cooking.
